K² Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Professional Engineers Joe and Amy Kowalski. Celebrating 25 years of quality service in 2014, K² Engineering has provided personalized Engineering services for all stages of commercial site development, permitting assistance as well as environmental assessment and remediation projects.

K² is locally owned and operated and is a Certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and a Certified Professional Engineering Consultant with Hillsborough County 

Our firm was chosen as Small Business of the year by the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce based on our quality of work, good value for our clients and excellent customer service.

To best serve our clients, K² has a Licensed General Contractor on staff (CG# CGCO60841), two registered Professional Engineers and carries $2 million in both General Liability and Professional Liability Insurance.

K² manages the reporting for the Port Tampa Bay environmental dredging permits with the Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE).
